4 Months Old!!

Charlotte turned 4 months old yesterday! Our friends Abby and Gregg were in town, so while the boys played golf mommy, Charlotte and Abby headed to the outlet mall in San Marcos to find some good deals! Abby and I shopped till we dropped, while sweet Charlotte napped the whole time (what a great way to shop)! I don't know if it was the cooler weather we had or all the white noise around the mall, but whatever it was Charlotte was out like a light. While she slept we found some really cute winter clothes for Char...what can we say she's a stylin' chick!

After we started our way back home Charlotte decided she didn't want to be in her car seat any longer and began to scream bloody murder for 20 minutes straight...poor Abby did everything she could think of to calm her down, but nothing worked. I couldn't do much since I was driving except try to get to our house as soon as possible. Sometimes a girl just needs to cry it out! I was very thankful she didn't have her melt down in one of the stores (which has happened before). It's the worst feeling hearing your baby scream and you can't do anything about it, but she eventualy calmed down as we pulled into the driveway. :)

I guess the biggest milestone we've had lately is moving Charlotte up to her own room. This past week it's been harder than ever to get her to go to sleep, but by Thursday we really had the hang of it. We think she's more aware of her surroundings now, so it's taken her some time to adjust to her new bed. We were afraid that she was keeping Evan awake since their rooms are right by eachother, but when we ask him in the mornings if she keeps him up, he just says nope...I didn't hear a thing (thank goodness for heavy sleepers)!

The other big change has been the fact that she's found her feet! She loves to grab them when we are changing her or when she's just waking up in the morning. She really splashes in the bathtub now too. She also loves to try and stand up when we are holding her, she must be building those muscles up so she can walk in the future. So cute!

I've misplaced my camera, so I'll add some more pictures soon. Love to all!
