Easter Weekend

We had so much fun hosting Easter at our home this year. I ended up coming down with a terrible head cold the day before everyone arrived, so thank goodness my mom and sister were there to help throw Easter Dinner together. You can tell it was a big day by how tired all the pom's were...haha! The boys had it rough too golfing all day Saturday while the ladies ran around shopping for dinner and Easter decor!

Austin Baby Shower

This weekend was our first baby shower for little Miss Charlotte. Thanks to Holly, Kelley, Christine and Liz for throwing such a beautiful shower! Of course my mom, Bren and I were late....which is very typical of the "Hastings Girls"....so again my apologies for being late to my own shower!! This is the reason I'm almost positive that Charlotte will be late, like mother like daughter right?!

Charlotte got SO many adorable gifts at the shower, and I had so much fun getting to see everyone this weekend. Aunt Bren took pictures so as soon as she sends them to me I'll post some! All I have to say is Charlotte is going to be one hip chick!

Randall's Birthday Trip to the Florida Keys

This is totally out of order, but I've been trying to find the pictures we took when we were in the Keys for Randall's Big 40th Birthday! We had a lot of fun and the weather was great, but I think we will go back when it's summer time next time we go...the water was way too cold to play in!

We stayed at a beautiful hotel on Duck Key a couple of nights and laid by the pool, got massages, and ate breakfast in bed....our kind of relaxation! We also got to meet up with some of Randall's friends from college when we were in Miami.....they took us to the most amazing Cuban Cafe for breakfast, and I'm still having dreams about the Cuban Coffee and breakfast we had there. YUMMY!

Belly Pictures

Ok, Ok....I've held everyone off for as long as possible, due to the constant request for "belly pictures" here are a couple for you to enjoy. I had Randall take some pics last night, I look really tired... 5 minutes after these were taken I fell asleep on the sofa watching LOST. Dang I love that show! This is me and baby Charlotte at 31 weeks.....

Charlotte Grace's New Photos

We went to the doctor today and got another sonogram. Charlotte already weighs 3lbs 11oz! Her head is low--which explains all the kicking in the ribs lately! If she gains weight like she should over the 9 weeks she'll be close to 8lbs at birth. We can't belive she'll be here so soon, it seems like just yesterday we found out we were expecting. Needless to say we can't wait to meet her, it's going to be so much fun to dress her up in all her pink clothes she's been getting!

Getting the House Together

Well, we have just been super busy around the Owen house! We moved not even a month ago, so we've been busy getting unpacked and organized. All of the rooms are coming together nicely, but geez does it take time to get a house in order!! Randall and Evan put Charlotte's bed together last week and we just LOVE it. It's perfect for "Princess", which is what Randall's momma calls her...we think she's a princess too! Evan is SUPER excited to be a big brother and is ready for his sister to be here already, her momma and daddy think she should "cook" just a bit longer! Here are some pictures of Evan helping Randall with the crib....what a great older brother she has! Of course Mister Max helped out too!!
